You know, we have it pretty darned good here at Bravenet. We have access to a ton of free stuff, all in one place; we have a fantastic support team who's there when we need them to be (
and if we have to wait a few days, it's usually because it's a holiday, and, well, these people are human, too, and they deserve a break); and we have a development team who's always working to come up with even more stuff for all of us - all at no cost to us. I want to let the Bravenet people know, through a show of public support, that I for one appreciate everything they've given us and everything they have in the works, because I wonder, sometimes, if they hear from us often enough about how we appreciate them and their efforts.
I've been here for three years. In that time:
* I have never had a problem that was left unresolved - even when the Support team couldn't help me (
because the problem turned out to be a bug/glitch).
* I have never sent in a Support Ticket that was ignored -
every single time, one of the staff have replied not long after the auto-generated acknowledgment was received.
* Twice, I've used the Live Help option, and both times, I not only got the help I needed, but the person I was talking with was friendly, patient, and even humorous when I was starting to get really frustrated because I couldn't get something to work.
What really astounds me is that no matter how busy the Support people get,
they always take the time to help - and promptly, too. This amazes me, because there aren't a lot of people on the Bravenet staff. It's not a huge conglomerate of people. And they're never rude or abrupt, and on the occasions where I've reported blogs for serious ToS violations, they have
always taken almost immediate action - and then, they've let me know what they did!

When I've been harangued and harassed (
which did
happen a couple of years ago - and not just to me, but to other Bravenet bloggers, as well), not once did they ever tell me to just block the offenders and ignore them; oh, no. They took action, and they got the problem solved.
We have it pretty damned good here, you know, and I think we owe it to the Bravenet staff to let them know we appreciate the time and energy they put in to make this site the incredible place that it is. I've been to a lot of different blogging sites, and I can honestly say that no other site has offered the kinds of services and ease of use that Bravenet offers. I pay for this journal and I pay for my website (
which I am
going to do something with, one of these days 
), and even though it's a bit pricey for my budget, it's worth every penny.
I have seven journals and a website here on Bravenet. I know that the next time I decide to create a journal (
and I will
- there's no doubt about it - because that's what I do when I get a great idea and run with it 
), I will be creating it right here at Bravenet. I'll be creating it here, because this site has everything I could possibly want, and more, all in one place.
