The only person who's known about this, so far, is Lacy, at
Razor Family Farms. I wanted to see how things would go before I said anything here. Since it's already received more than 300 hits, so far, I would say that means it's going well. So, now I'll tell you about it, and you can check it out yourself, if you want to.
I have a new blog. It's about finding happiness through healing past, unresolved emotional wounds. You see, over the years, I've talked with so many people about so many different life issues, that I thought maybe I could do that in a written format. So far, it's proving to be quite a challenge, because I'm used to offering the benefit of my experience during conversations with people who are going through similar experiences; I'm not used to doing what I'm doing now.
So, if you're at all interested in checking out the new place, just
click this link (a new window will open).
Another thing I started (actually, I've
re-started it; I used to have it here at Bravenet - in fact, some of you may even remember it) is a home-reno blog. Now, I'm not sure, yet, if I'm going to leave it where it is, or bring it back here, but one thing I
do know is that this time, I'm going to keep it. Our house is just such an awesome renovation project that it seems a shame not to share the learning process or the pictures of what's achieved. Plus, the fact that most of the renovation work is being done by me (a
woman) gives the concept a nice little twist that might just encourage more women to take control instead of waiting for their partners to "get 'er done."
The thing is, since it started three years ago - when we did our bathroom - I've discovered that I absolutely
love renovation work. Yes, it's time-consuming; yes, it's labor-intensive; yes, it can be extremely frustrating. But when I see the end result, all that pain and agony just disappears into the background - rather like what happens after being in labor for what feels like eternity, and finally seeing that newborn baby for the first time...
So, that's what I'm up to.

Finally, my days are no longer characterized by huge chunks of boredom-time. Between this place,
the Camper,
Weigh to Go, and all the other things I've got set up, I finally feel like I'm actually doing something worthwhile; I finally feel like I am, in some small but meaningful way, contributing to society. And for me, that's a really big deal.
Have a fantastic day and a fantastic weekend, everyone. Take care, and thanks for dropping by.
