Since things have been so quiet for the past couple of days, I decided to do some more work on
the website (link opens new window/tab). I think it looks pretty decent, myself, although I have to admit I'd really like to use a different theme.

The problem I keep running into is that although Bravenet has some seriously kick-ass themes to choose from, I haven't got the first clue about how to set them up on my website. The last time I tried it, my entire site got messed up, and I had to delete everything and start over from scratch. I was
not amused...
Here's what I think: I think that doing things like this should be relatively easy, as not everyone is familiar with or adept at coding
HTML or CSS. Also, not everyone has the time required to get fancy with their website - they want to install themes, add their links, and be done with it until they need to update their site. Bravenet has some fantastic themes, as I said, but if a person hasn't got the first clue about how to use them - and if the instructions in the tutorials are just reading like some weird kind of foreign language to the person - what's the point? People are way too busy, these days, to be spending hours poring over tutorials and trying to make sense of the information provided.

Annnnnyway....

Tomorrow, Roger and I are going to be taking off to the mountains for the day. It's supposed to be really hot (30C

), and the mountains will help alleviate the worst of the heat.

Plus, we might get lucky and catch some avalanche action, as there's still quite a bit of snow along the Parkway highway, and we might even see some really awesome alpine flowers, too.

Well, I hope everyone has a great weekend. Enjoy the nice weather, stay cool, use sunscreen when you're out in the sun, and thanks for visiting!
