The day has dawned gray and cool, with a promise of rain. With only 23 days to go before we can blow this popsicle stand (read: get out of the city and back to nature), there's a lot of work to be done, including cleaning out the van and loading it. I can't clean it when the weather is like this. So, I'm hoping the weekend will be better; the less that has to be done by the time we're ready to take off, the better.
Speaking of taking off, I've been thinking about how less is more, especially with online journals. Personally, I really dislike a lot of clutter on my page; not only does a lot of clutter detract from the main content, but it can also cause slow page loads. I don't like having to wait forever for a page to load, and I don't think anyone else does, either; that's why I've tried to keep the graphics here to a minimum. I think I can probably do more to facilitate that, though, so I'll be working on that.
Which brings me to my next point: a new website for The Camper (
see it here - link will open a new window/tab for you). There's quite a bit of content there, and more will be coming, but I think it's a pretty decent start. The website for the Tree is kind of in a rut, right now, but because there are so many music and image files there, I don't want to delete it. The idea for the Tree website was to consolidate everything I have into one main site, as well as adding new content. It's weird how you know what you want, but you can't seem to get that to come forward quite enough in your brain to help you put it into actuality...
Annnnyway...
Gray days really get to me, so I'm going to sign off. Just don't be startled when you see things changing around here.
Have a great day, and thanks for visiting.
