I have to admit I'm not one who tries hard. If I am not getting comments back after just two or three visits I figure they're not interested in talking to me and just give up. Maybe if I tried harder I'd have more people visiting my blog & commenting... but I guess I'm just too much of a pessimist to try any harder. I'm not sure at what point it becomes personal; I am fairly sure there are probably at least a couple people out there upset with me because I don't visit with them anymore but the reason I stopped visiting was because they were not returning the visits so I figured they weren't interested in talking to me. What else CAN you think, when you leave them comments but they don't leave comments for you in return? I don't expect immediate responses, I know not everyone can spend most of their day at the computer or that other things pop up etc. and not *every* comment is going to get a response, but if it's been say a week or more (or there have been several comments I've left, ones that have questions that ought to be answered) & they've made new posts and comments on other blogs... I figure they don't wanna talk to me. I don't typically take it personally (though there are times it's hard not to) I just go with the flow of things and I figure, if they want to talk to me they'll stop by and leave a comment.

works the same way in real life too, I have visited many times with friends , only to have them never come to my house to visit me....oh well, such as life....I have friends here on the net,...who needs friends in the real world?

I know I'm guilty of being one of those people who don't always return comments right away or as often, but life is life. There are often legitimate reasons for it. Busy. Work. Not in front of a computer. I rarely take anything personally, but my nature is very laid back.

MY THOUGHTS EXACTLY!!! It's like beating your head against a rock. There were so many people I was trying to reach out to, to get to know and get some kind of acknowlegement only to be either dissed or downright ignored. It's almost like some people get off on acting like you don't exist, or what you have to say has no import. I got sick and tired of beating THAT dead horse too. In my personal life and my online friends I draw the line at the total indifference some people show. I hear your frustration darling especially that I know you are going thru a rough time right now. It's exhausting isn't it? It's like "WHY THE FUCK SHOULD I BOTHER" Linke you time and energy is of no value. I just want to know I cherish and appreciate EVERY TIME YOU COME ON TO MY BLOG AND COMMENT... I know you have lots of people you support but you ALWAYS make the time to comment in a positive way. I now focus my time on the people who show a genuine interest. I love you babe, you make blogging a pleasure. Your bro
