What's My Status? "
Holly has been brought to you today by the loving support of coffee..."
Before I attempt to write with any semblance of understanding, or even try to make any sense to my own self, I want to give a big congrats to
Shawn - he won this week's JOTW!

Way to go, bro; you've been working really hard on your place to make it nice and to keep it going, and you deserve the award.

Now that I've taken care of that important piece of business, I can get on with the rest of the stuff that's on my coffee-deprived mind. Please forgive me if I sound disconnected, disjointed, and/or quite possibly slurry; I'm trying to wake up, and I don't have my caffeine IV in, yet.
I have removed the Helium links. I got one response back, yesterday, in which I was told I had to make the
URL a link. Well, DUH. I did, and it doesn't work - which was why I contacted "support" in the first place - and I don't have the patience to deal with it, anymore. They deleted the one article I wrote, anyway, so it's not like I'm losing years of work.
For those of you who are interested in ghostie stuff, if you haven't done this already, check out
Leah's post about a really interesting experience she and her sister had in an old, abandoned house. She even has pictures...

I'm so glad to see that
Dee is still online! She was having computer issues and thought she might be offline for an indefinite time, and.I'm so glad to see she's still with us; she really knows how to make a person's day - ya know?

It's also great to see that
Kris is back; I've been following her life for a couple of years, now, and I really missed her when she was silent for so many months...
I don't know if anyone saw it on my Tagboard, but
Hazel has been battling an infection from a tooth extraction. If you wouldn't mind, please add her to your thoughts and prayers, and maybe consider dropping by and visiting her. She has other, more serious illness to contend with, and any infection or illness like a cold or flu can really throw her for a loop. I know that where illness is concerned,
MzTracy has to be careful, too; she has MS, so she's a lot more vulnerable to things that most of us recover from fairly quickly.
Yesterday, my beautiful friend
Lady Wolfen Mists, left a comment for me that really touched my heart. She said, "
I want you to know you are blessed and good things ARE coming your way. I also want to thank you for all the work you do here on bravenet (you are always thanking everyone else) and tell you how very much I appreciate you as a friend and a person. Just wanted you to know." I love you, too, my dear friend, and I thank you for all the joy you give me, and all the light you bring to the lives of everyone who meets you.

I don't know about anyone else, but for me, trying to nurture friendships with the people in my life is important, and so is trying to help others connect with each other. I think we get so caught up in our own "stuff", sometimes, that we forget there are others who need us, too. So, I link to people as another way to let them know I'm thinking of them.

Have a great day, everyone, and thanks for visiting. You know I love it when I have a Tree full of company...
